“As we emerge from the effects of a global pandemic and the UK economy continues its rise from the depths of mid-2020, it is clear that the construction and infrastructure industries will play a key role in the future economic stability and growth of the country.
Within an ever-changing and highly unpredictable operating environment the speed at which businesses learn and adapt to the challenges will become a key differentiator within the market.
Our continued cross-sector diversification is shaped by this need for change and, as we transition from a traditional top-down organisational model to a Group built around high-performance work teams, the need to develop and nurture the existing knowledge base within the group will become imperative.
Our success depends upon our people. I look forward to building upon the important work carried out by the Group to ensure that our strategic approach delivers the framework our teams need to continue innovating and delivering sustainable value to the industry.
This new role gives me the opportunity to be an ambassador for change across the UK construction and infrastructure network, focusing on building high-performing teams that will not only deliver company growth but inspire the next generation of industry leaders.”
